Activities carried out by MBA & MCA Departments

Life at GNDEC is full of action and learning experiences. GNDEC, apart from being one of the best Institute in the region in Academics, also has to its credit the great effort that is spent on shaping the overall personality of the students. The Departments of MBA & MCA have been working with full zeal and vigor towards this end by way of quality activities organized throughout the year.

· Short Term Training Programs in collaboration with National Institute of Technical Teachers Training, Chandigarh.

· Workshops for students on enhancing soft skills like Personality Development, English Speaking, Paper Reading, Extempore etc.

· Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Case Studies etc. for overall development of the students to face real life challenges.

· Guest Lectures by Eminent Corporate Personalities on emerging Trends & Technologies.

· Organisation of Inter College Annual Techfest – Genesis.

· Inter college Technical Events viz. Managerial Flair, Technovision, Talent Hunt etc.

· Inter college Academic/Cultural Events.

· Industrial Tours to various Corporates in and outside Punjab.

· Excursion Trips to various places.

· Freshers and Farewell Parties.

· Placement activities in collaboration with Training & Placement Cell to achieve 100% Placement.

· All work and no play, makes jack a dull boy... or so they say. The students know for a fact that to strike a good balance between the mind and body, a stint at the playground is necessary. Although the curriculum does not permit it, the students try to make an impression in the sports arena.   

Sports cultivate physical, endurance and self control, to keep up this spirit. A lot of Inter/Intra University/College Tournaments like, Athletics, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Hockey, Volley Ball, Basket Ball,Cricket are organised.
