Dear students,
Sub: - Regarding viva-voce examination of six months industrial training.
This refers to subject cited above regarding viva-voce examination of six months industrial training. It is further brought to your notice that the internal viva voce examinations will be held in Computational Lab of Electrical Engineering Department as per schedule attached (Excel sheet attached). Please go through the schedule and note the following points while appearing for internal viva-voce presentation.
1. All students must be in possession of following things while appearing for viva voce exam.
a. Synopsis
b. Mid term report (Hard Bound)
c. Daily diary
d. Final Report (Hard Bound)
e. Presentation in 97-2003 ppt format (CD only; NO PEN DRIVES ALLOWED)
If there is more than one student in a group then each one must submit a to d things separately. If some of the above mentioned things have already been submitted then it may be collected from the undersigned at the time of presentation.
2. All the students are required to be present on all days. (30.04.12 to 03.05.12)
3. All students must reach the venue by 8.30 a.m. on first day positively for the address by the departmental placement coordinators.
4. The time schedule for presentations on all days will be
a. 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
b. Tea Break (11.00 a.m. - 11.15 a.m.)
c. 11.45 a.m. to 12.45.p.m.
d. Lunch Break (12.45 p.m. – 1.30 p.m.)
e. 1.30 p.m. till last presentation of that particular day.
5. The presentation may be given either by an individual or by a group (Not more than 3).
a. Individual presentation time allowed 10-15 minutes + 3-5 minutes for discussion or queries.
b. Group presentation (2 students) time allowed 20-30 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion or queries.
c. Group presentation (3 students) time allowed 30-40 minutes + 7-10 minutes for discussion or queries.
6. The proposed date for the final viva- voce is 4th May 2012.
Any further queries or doubts can be discussed with the Departmental Placement Coordinators on working days.
