The Installation guide specifies that the clientFiles.zip file,
containing the client libraries that will allow you to connect to a
GemStone repository from a remote client, are located in the
GemStone/S server installation directory. 

This has changed. You may find the necessary client libraries within
the GemStone server for your client platform. For Windows, the
libraries are found in %GEMSTONE%\bin. For Unix platforms, the
libraries are found in $GEMSTONE/lib. The necessary files are listed
in the GBS installation guide.
